Auditions are open to all dancers and performers on Delmarva!
Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 13th at:

Start Time/Duration of Auditions:

12:30pm - Doors open for registration & paperwork

1:00-1:30pm - Tier 1; ages 6-7
- 1:35-1:55pm - Parent Meeting 1*
2:00-2:30pm - Tier 1; ages 8-9
2:40-3:40 pm - Tier 2; ages 10-12 (or dancers over 12 that are not en pointe)
3:50-5:00pm - Tier 3; dancers en pointe (ages 12+)
3:50-4:10 - Parent Meeting 2*
4:10-4:30pm - Registration & measurements for supernumeraries/actors
*We encourage at least one parent/guardian to attend a parent meeting to receive information about ESBT, the production itself, as well as guidelines & expectations of our members.

Online registration will close on Thursday, September 10th.
Families who do not submit the online registration form by that deadline will need to complete a paper registration form in person at auditions. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete this paperwork.
What to expect?

$30 audition fee

Be prepared to complete an audition form (for those that did not complete in advance)

A photo and measurements will be taken

The audition will require demonstration of skills and retention of choreography set to music
Audition Tiers:
Tier 1 - Young Performers
Eligible Age: 6-9
Experience/Abilities: roles require coordination, musicality, movement, and acting; dance experience preferred for select roles, but not necessary for others.
Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons for select times between 1-6pm beginning in October and continuing until performance weekend
Tier 2 - Beginner/Intermediate Level Dancers
Eligible Age: 10-12 or ages 12+ and not en pointe
Experience/Abilities: roles require coordination, musicality, movement, and acting; dance experience preferred
Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons for select times between 1-6pm beginning in October and continuing until performance weekend
Tier 3 - Advanced Level Dancers en Pointe
Eligible Age: 12+ en pointe
Experience/Abilities: dance experience required including training en pointe
Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday and Sunday afternoons for select times between 12:30-6pm beginning in October and continuing until performance weekend
Supernumeraries/Actors as Party Scene Guests
Eligible Age: 12+
Experience/Abilities: roles require coordination, musicality and movement; no dance experience required, acting experience preferred
Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday afternoons for select times between 1-3pm beginning late October and continuing until performance weekend
Dress:
female - black leotard, pink tights, soft ballet shoes, hair secured in bun
male - white shirt, black tights/pants, soft ballet shoes, hair secured out of face
Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons for select times between 12:30-5:30pm beginning in October and continuing until performance weekend
Absences Allotted: 3
Performance Week Schedule: attendance is mandatory

Wednesday, December 2nd - Blocking/Tech Rehearsal

Thursday, December 3rd - Dress Rehearsal

Friday, December 4th - Morning Performance at 10AM, Sensory Friendly Performance at 1:30PM & Evening Performance at 7:30PM

Saturday, December 5th - Morning Performance at 11AM & Evening Performance at 7PM

Sunday, December 6th - Afternoon Performance at 2PM
