ESBT advocates the Arts in Annapolis
Betty Webster and Nicole Brushmiller represented ESBT recently at the Maryland Arts Day on February 10th in Annapolis, MD. Maryland Citizens for the Arts spoke out for the Arts in Maryland. The arts are facing a potentially large cut of 36% of its state funding. This would be the largest cut ever made to Maryland State Arts Council. The effects from this dramatic cut can not only falter arts organizations but may cause them to fail. Small organizations like ESBT highly depend on our funding from local and state grants. We urge all arts supporters to contact their state representatives!
